G & R Upholstery and Refinishing has a Master Upholster who can take your worn out or antique
furniture from a distress piece and create a truly remarkable piece that you
would be proud to display in your home. With over 25 years of experience, we build and design each
product to create the look, the image and the feel you desire.
Your upholstered piece is first stripped of all old fabric and some stuffing materials (If needed). After analyzing the construction, our craftsmen will tighten the frame and retie the springs (If needed) then apply new padding materials, then expertly apply the new fabric of your choice, if cushion foam or pillow filler is required will add items.
Our cording is hand made right in our shop. We know how to apply trim and fringe so that your piece will look beautiful.
If you desire a New Headboard, Ottoman or Cornice for your bedroom we can design and make your Headboard to your specifications, then upholster it in the fabric of your choice, creating the custom headboard and foot board of your choice.
Also we repair damage or broken furniture, cracking finish, dents, gouges and scratches. We refinish furniture , first by stripping the finish, then add wood filler to missing veneer or wood, sand, stain and add clear lacquer.
High gloss finish requires wet standing then paste wax buffing(French Polish).
Our experienced craftsman can fix things you would not expect could be repaired. Don't throw or give away those family heirlooms.
